Arnaud, what is your educational and professional background?

I came from a long period of expatriation in South East Asia where I was able to finish my high school and part of my higher education. Back in France, I turned to my first passion, the automobile. Then change of horizon, and here I am in the agricultural field in a position of Development Manager for the West and Export to Europe. Then a meeting with a person from the Public Works world allowed me to project myself on this market. It was then that the Human Resources Department of the Haladjian Group contacted me to discuss my integration into Haladjian Minerals Solutions almost 2 years ago, to my great pleasure.

Could you introduce us to Haladjian Minerals Solutions?

Haladjian Minerals Solutions is the latest addition to the Haladjian Group, specialized in the field of crushing and grinding and more generally in quarries and mines, with the supply of mechanical parts and wear parts for crushers. It is experiencing a very important progression, currently the most important of the group.   

With an experienced design Office team, we are also solicited for our technical and field approach on large-scale projects such as the complete design of fixed installations for the production of aggregates or the modification of existing fixed installations, with complete support for the process and machine integration. 

The main character trait of each member of the team, whether in the Design Office, the Technical Department or the Sales Department (sedentary or itinerant), is passion. The strength of HMS lies in its employees, all of whom come from the extractive industry sector and all of whom are focused on the same direction, keeping customer support, machine monitoring and reactivity at heart.  

Given the extremely varied demands of its customers, HMS offers a real alternative to manufacturers as well as a flexibility that very few companies can claim.   

 

For you, what role do HMS solutions play in the extractive industry sector?

HMS is today the challenger in the mining and quarrying sector, we remain humble about our competitors but we are present with independent, regional and national groups. 

What is your mission at HMS ?

I am responsible for my sector, the main contact for my customers, their gateway. My sector goes from the Belgian border to the Charente in France.  

I am accompanied by 3 sedentary salesmen at Haladjian’s headquarters (in Sorgues in the Vaucluse – 84), to centralize and process customer requests. In the field, I work in tandem with the Technical Sector Inspector and ensure that communication is as fluid as possible between the technical/maintenance and sales departments.  

 

What is your favorite HMS machine, type of quarry or product range ?

My favorite machine is probably the Metso® C110 jaw crusher from the 2000s. It is a machine that I find quite frequently in the solid rock quarries of my region, Brittany. Moreover, the first site I was assigned to when I arrived at HMS was the installation and start-up of a primary crusher that our teams of technicians had previously rejected.
